Job Description Must have Civil Construction (not real estate) Must be a US Citizen This role works directly with the Division Manager and General Superintendent to ensure project budgets are accurate, materials are competitively priced, and deliveries are coordinated efficiently. The Estimator/Purchaser also collaborates closely with the Dispatcher and Production Coordinator to ensure seamless material flow, timely procurement, and cost-effective operations. The Estimator/Purchaser is responsible for supporting the Excavation Division by preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and material procurement for site development and earthwork projects. Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field. The office would be located in South Plainfield, NJ. Seeking a sharp Estimator & Purchaser. This project is bidding and piping. 2-5 years of experience in excavation, site work, or heavy civil construction estimating and purchasing. High attention to detail with strong cost analysis and budgeting abilities Strong knowledge of site development materials (concrete, pipe, asphalt, fill aggregates, etc.) Proficiency in takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or similar) Strong negotiation, vendor management, and purchasing skills.
