YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA (SAY), is seeking dedicated
and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. We
currently have openings in multiple departments our Early Childhood
Center. Early Childhood Teachers ensure the daily physical, social,
emotional, and developmental needs of children are met while they
are in our care. Teachers supervise children as they learn and
play, provide comfort and reassurance, plan age-appropriate
activities, maintain a clean and safe environment, and build strong
relationships with families. This role requires a commitment to the

backgrounds Salary & Benefits: This is a full-time role (40
hours/week), working Monday to Friday. Shifts are 8 hours per day,
scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The pay range for this role
is $18.00 - $22.00/ hour and is based on experience. The SAY offers

Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year
of experience in a classroom group setting Strong leadership,
communication, planning, and organizational skills Willingness to
grow professionally through ongoing learning and trainings Good
written and oral communication skills Ability to relate effectively
to people from diverse social and economic backgrounds Availability
to work year-round, supporting both the school year and summer
