Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Dayton NJ on 1st or 2nd shift for a major manufacturing companyPerform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting on injection and Blow mold machines, as well as downstream equipment.Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.Replace or repair parts on machines, including bearings, filters, cylinders, valves, motors, and other electrical components.Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of trouble.Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, examine parts for imperfections, and inspect used parts for dimensional changes.Adjust functional parts and control instruments, repair or replace defective parts, and install special functional and structural parts.Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines, lubricate and clean parts, and test devices for performance.Participate in an on-call program and work additional hours as required.Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Requirements:High school diploma or preferred technical education at a community college or university.5+ years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Full understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.Prefer Electrician's License, but not mandatory.
