Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Operator Job Description In this entry-level role, directly impacting the quality of the products and helping to improve real lives. You will be responsible for manually dividing products into bags by hand scooping raw materials into them, reading and filling out batch records, weighing materials on a scale, and boxing them. The product is a powder used in baby food and is not harmful. Responsibilities Read and follow written operating instructions. Fill out and maintain batch records. Communicate manufacturing process status to Shift Team Lead/Supervisor. Perform inspections and cleaning of equipment to ensure product quality. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation and cleanroom environments. General production skills including machine operating and packaging. Proficiency in inspection and using hand tools. Mechanical aptitude. Understanding of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and production processes. Ability to fill out batch records and perform general labor tasks. High School diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of production/manufacturing experience. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hackettstown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr. Company Benefits Comprehensive Health & Welfare benefits program offered to all eligible US employees on your start date. In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in 401(k) retirement plan. Contributes an amount equal to 4% of your total eligible pay to your 401(k) plan, regardless of whether you participate. If you contribute to the plan, company will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. Company will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description. ? Your Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues on a pay period basis, with a maximum of 18 days per year, for the first five years of employment.
