Formed by the 2019 merger between Summit Medical Group, one of the nations premier independent physician-governed multispecialty medical groups, and CityMD, the leading urgent care provider in the New York metro area, Summit Health delivers a more intuitive, comprehensive, and responsive care experience for every stage of life and health condition through high-quality primary, specialty, and urgent care.The next chapter of Summit Health will bring deep clinical integration, an enhanced digital experience for our patients, and growth in providers and locations across the tri-state area.The Mammography Tech will be responsible for the following:Schedule:Friday 8 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 2 PMPart time, non benefittedEssential Job functions:Produces quality mammography images for interpretation.Assumes responsibility for patient safety by utilizing proper exposure and protective measures.Educates and explains procedures to patients.Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care.Demonstrates awareness of Radiation Safety Procedures for self and others.Follows department protocols in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms.Follows regulatory guidelines and performs QA/QC as mandated by ACR/ MQSA.General Job functions:Must be organized, self-motivated and efficient while working well with others in a team setting.Must always deliver compassionate patient care with satisfaction a priority.Must adhere to ALARA principles while delivering quality, safe patient imaging at all times.Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.Other job duties as required.Attends departmental meetings as required.To qualify, you must be Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) (R) required) with at minimum 2 years of experience.We offer a competitive salary, dynamic working environment, and a comprehensive benefits package.#INDAncillaryAbout Our CommitmentTotal Rewards at VillageMDOur team members are essential to our mission to reshape healthcare through the power of connection.
