Job Description:

Centerview Health in Toms River, NJ is looking for Medical Assistants to become part of our team. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions. While having certification as a medical assistant is a plus, we are willing to provide training for committed individuals who are not certified. Responsibilities:
--- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
--- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
--- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
--- Administer injections or medications as directed by the healthcare provider
--- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
--- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
--- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
--- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care

Qualifications:
Requirements:
--- High school diploma or equivalent
--- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
--- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
--- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
--- Positive work attitude

Nice to Have:
--- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
--- Completion of a medical assistant training program
--- Certification as a medical assistant is preferred
