Job Description A healthcare network in New Jersey is currently
seeking a Gastroenterologist for inpatient coverage in the Surgery
Department at its facility in Union County. About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 2 weeks per month (7 days per week) Setting: Inpatient
Patient Volume: 5 to 10 per day EMR: EPIC Responsibilities: Perform
inpatient GI consultations and procedures Daily rounding and
scheduled OR block time Emergency on-call coverage Manage a range
of conditions including GI bleeding, pancreatitis, and malignancies
Procedures may include ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic), EGD,
colonoscopy, PEG, esophageal stenting, and more Qualifications:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology ACLS certification required
Ability to work independently in an Inpatient setting Eligible for
emergency or temporary hospital privileges Desired Skills:
Experience with advanced GI procedures
