Morristown, NJ 07960 Department: Delivery Room (02*6190) Start
Date: 01/19/2026 End Date: 04/18/2026 Schedule: 7a–7p, 3x12s (36
hrs/week) Shift: Day Shift Travel Experience Required: Yes — must
have previous travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large
hospital settings. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Perform
comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups. - Deliver
direct patient care and demonstrate strong clinical skills within
the L&D unit. - Maintain accurate and complete documentation
following nursing guidelines. - Follow hospital policies,
demonstrate professionalism, and identify areas for growth. -
Ensure patient and family satisfaction through clear, compassionate
communication. - Maintain patient safety, follow National Patient
Safety Goals, and use proper body mechanics. - Provide specialized
care for labor, delivery, and perioperative patients, including
understanding procedures and anesthesia requirements. - Prioritize
patient care and respond to changes in condition. - Educate
patients and families on pre- and post-operative instructions. -
Support timely completion of Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) when
applicable. Requirements - Required: Active RN License, BLS, ACLS -
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN
preferred) - Experience: Previous travel & high-risk L&D
