Job Description:
A hospital in Staten Island is looking for a Geriatrician to
join their dedicated outpatient team. About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 9am-5pm Setting: Outpatient Patient
Population: Adults 65 Responsibilities: Provide office-based
management of the geriatric population Impart geriatric care
protocols and standards across all network adult medicine providers
Teach medical residents the principals of geriatric care, including
giving lectures Create continuum of care transition models to
support home health, family support, and post-acute care protocols
Work collaboratively with hospital medicine and ED physicians to
create a well-developed program of competencies in managing
geriatric patient needs Qualifications: License to practice
medicine in New York Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
or Family Medicine AND the completion of a geriatrics fellowship OR
a passion for working with geriatric patients
