Pay: $2,614 to $2,664 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech) Location: Cape May Courthouse, NJ Duration: 13 Weeks Hours: 36 Hours Shift: Night (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) Department : Diagnostic Imaging - Cape Regional Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at facility. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality Computerized Tomographic (CT) procedures, ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Performs Computerized Tomographic procedures in accordance with hospital standards, State, and Federal regulations in a time frame not to exceed 45 minutes for all routine procedures . Maintains full knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and computer applications specific to CT. Practices in accordance with Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies and procedures. Verifies the presence of images and accurate documentation in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Ensures accuracy of information provided and the quality of images. Interviews patients regarding pertinent information and clinical history to complete necessary forms. Provides patients, families, and others with instructions and educational information to facilitate the procedure. Supplies necessary documentation to ensure compliance in a multidisciplinary approach for patient care. Participates in the ongoing process of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through documentation, data collection, and customer satisfaction initiatives. Applies strong patient relations skills and assumes responsibility for the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures. Demonstrates professional development through continuing education. Maintains licensure and/or certification in areas of practice. Participates in staff and/or department meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Certification Requirements High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school. Ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) and/or certification by the NJ State Board of Examiners. Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist . Must demonstrate competency in the performance of Computerized Tomography procedures. Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy as it relates to CT imaging. Client experience preferred. Skills and Abilities Well-developed interpersonal skills. Initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance. Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints. Clear and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments. Proficiency in handling detailed tasks and assignments. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry or move heavy objects approximately 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours. Dexterity of hands and fingers to utilize tools, utensils, equipment, etc. Ability to kneel, bend, or stoop to complete job responsibilities at very low or floor levels. Ability to visually perceive depth, distance, read material, and view documents with or without corrective lenses. Ability to hear inquiries from patients, physicians, clients, and staff. Ability to work in varying degrees of lighting for extended periods of time. May be exposed to dangerous toxins or waste materials. Ability to work with dangerous tools or equipment. TB_HC ZR
