Job Opportunity – Ambulatory OR Charge Nurse – Pennsylvania Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, no weekends, no floating, no on-call Highlights: High-volume ambulatory surgical center with diverse case mix including orthopedic, ophthalmology, and general procedures 1:1 patient ratio in a 3-room OR suite with daily census of approximately 20 patients Epic charting system experience preferred Scrubs provided by facility Serve all patient age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology Requirements: Active Pennsylvania nursing license or compact state license required at time of submission Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience Previous Charge Nurse experience required Demonstrated experience in Ambulatory OR, Cardiac Monitoring, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedures Travel nursing experience required Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This ambulatory surgical center position offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekend, floating, or on-call requirements.
