RN Outpatient Pediatrics for a travel nursing job in Newark, New
Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics -
Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8
hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Requirements: - Active RN
license in the state of New Jersey or Compact - BLS - 3–5 years of
RN experience required - At least 1 year of pediatric nursing
experience Job Responsibilities: - Complete patient assessments,
including health history, screenings, and triage - Create and
adjust care plans based on each patient’s needs and age - Provide
hands-on nursing care, including more advanced clinical procedures
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments - Educate
patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
care - Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment - Respond
quickly and appropriately to emergency situations - Accurately
document patient care in the medical record - Work closely with
providers and care team members to ensure smooth, coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement and ongoing training - Help
maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
