Job Description:
Laurel Manor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be an integral part of our mission to deliver
high-quality healthcare, ensuring that our patients receive the
best possible nursing care, rehabilitation services, and long-term
care in a facility equipped with advanced medical infrastructure.
As a CNA at Laurel Manor Healthcare, you will assist in daily
living activities for patients under the guidance of nursing staff,
and help maintain a positive environment that promotes patient
safety and well-being. Assist patients with daily personal tasks
such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Help perform housekeeping
duties such as cleaning, changing bed linens, and laundry. Monitor
and record patients' condition by noting vital signs, presence of
pain, and any other significant physiological changes. Aid in the
implementation of care plans set forth by the supervising nurse.
Ensure the highest quality of care by maintaining a safe and clean
environment for all patients. Communicate regularly with nurses
regarding patient’s condition and the care or assistance provided.
Support patient mobility, movement using assistive devices, and
transport. Assist in feeding patients, measuring and recording food
and liquid intake. Provide companionship and basic emotional or
psychological support. Basic knowledge of health and safety
guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work
long hours frequently in a physically demanding position Empathy
and the ability to care for the sick, elderly, or frail Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance State Certified Nursing
Assistant Certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
