Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal - Newborn - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: RN – Mother/Baby Facility: Overlook Medical Center (Atlantic Health System) Department: Mother Baby Unit / Maternity Location: 99 Beauvoir Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901 Contract Details: - Duration: 8 weeks - Hours per Week: 36 - Shift Length: 12 hours - Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Days per Week: 3 - Weekends: 3–4 weekends per month - Holidays: 1–2 holidays required Job Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive Mother/Baby nursing care in an acute care hospital setting - Care for mother and newborn as a couplet - Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team through Shared Governance - Deliver evidence-based care while upholding PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, Excellence) Required Skills & Qualifications: - Active RN License (required) - Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting - Must be able to care for mother and baby as a couplet - Strong communication and computer skills - Education: BSN preferred - Language: English (Read, Write, Speak) Additional Information: - Job Category: Clinical – Nursing – Travel - H-1B: Not accepted - Sub-Contracting: Not allowed K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
