Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Job Details:

• Shift Type: Varied (Typically overnights with hospital/call)
• Weekend Requirements: As Scheduled
• On Call Requirements: 1:6

MANDATED Job Requirements:

• Board Certified/BE within 5 years of residency - Required
• PA license - Highly preferred
• Local provider (only mileage is reimbursed) - Required

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS
• BLS
• Board Certified
• Board Eligible

License Requirements:

• Pennsylvania

Job Description: Looking for an OB/GYN to start ASAP for a 6-month assignment with the option to extend!

• Schedule: Mostly overnights. Will need hospital and call coverage. 12-hour shifts, in house and beeper call.
• Call Ratio: 1:6
• Total Number of Beds: 8 Labor, 20 postpartum
• Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 0
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 5 OB's
• Support Staff: RN, Scrub Tech, Laborist, Midwife
• Low Risk Pregnancy Percentage: 90
• High Risk Pregnancy Percentage: 10
• C-Section Percentage: 25-30%
• Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 3-4
• Nursery Level: II
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
