The Opportunity

We're seeking a tech-savvy recruiter with strong client instincts to join our NYC team in a dual role that combines full-cycle recruitment with client-facing account management. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we serve and scale tech and business accounts in one of our fastest-growing markets.

What You'll Do

Recruitment & Talent Strategy (60%)

Own full-cycle recruitment for tech and general business roles (sourcing to close)
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline across industries and functions
Collaborate with internal teams to define hiring needs, timelines, and candidate profiles
Implement creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent
Deliver an outstanding candidate experience that reflects 40HRS values

Client Solutions & Account Management (40%)

Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts
Translate hiring needs into recruiting strategy, ensuring speed and quality
Consult with clients on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent strategy
Ensure client satisfaction through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and reporting
Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within active accounts


What You Bring

2-4 years of experience in recruitment, account management, or both
Experience filling technical roles (e.g., software, infrastructure, IT, data)
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Comfortable managing both candidate pipelines and client expectations
A flexible, startup-friendly mindset: proactive, self-managed, and collaborative


Compensation & Schedule

Starting base salary: $65,000 + Competitive commission structure
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Eastern Time)
Work Location: Fully remote (U.S. based)
