9am to 5pm Salary: $58,000-$65,000k Job Summary and Key Duties: As
the Mental Health & Wellbeing Program Coordinator at Good Shepherd
Services, you will play a key role in supporting the development
and delivery of mental health initiatives across the organization.
This multifaceted position combines program coordination,
educational leadership, and administrative support to strengthen
our commitment to staff and participant wellbeing. A central part
of your role as Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager will be leading
and enhancing our Master’s level internship program. You will
collaborate closely with educational institutions and program
stakeholders to ensure seamless placement processes and an
enriching internship experience. Key duties include liaising
between schools and the programs, overseeing placement logistics,
maintaining relationships, and supporting the professional growth
of interns. Your efforts will play a crucial role in preparing
future social work and mental health professionals by aligning
academic learning with practical, hands-on experience in diverse
community settings. In addition, you will provide general
administrative support to the Mental Health and Wellbeing
department. This includes helping to manage trainings, workshops,
and monthly newsletters, as well as contributing to operational
efficiency by maintaining accurate records, communications, and
scheduling. Your support will help ensure the department runs
smoothly and continues to deliver high-quality mental health
programming across the organization and externally. Core

teams. High attention to detail and technological proficiency,
especially with Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools for
scheduling and documentation. Initiative and problem-solving

Relationship-building skills to cultivate and maintain partnerships
with educational institutions, program sites, and internal
stakeholders. Logistical coordination skills for managing
placements, scheduling, compliance, and administrative tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with
diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, program
directors, supervisors, and external partners. Ability to
synthesize feedback and data to improve program outcomes and inform
departmental planning. Empathy and cultural responsiveness in
working with diverse populations and supporting mental health and
wellbeing initiatives. Responsibilities (General Department
Support): Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate
logistics for training sessions, webinars, and team events. Prepare
agendas, take meeting minutes, and track action items. Maintain
organized digital and physical filing systems for program
materials, toolkits and other documentation. Serve as a point of
contact for internal staff, external partners, and training
participants. Assist in drafting and distributing communications,
including emails, newsletters, and event reminders. Support
coordination of training sessions, including registration,
materials preparation, and follow-up. Assist in the formatting,
proofreading, and distribution of mental health toolkits and
training materials. Track project timelines and deliverables using
project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Suite). Help gather
feedback and evaluation data from training participants. Maintain
databases of training participants, partners, and stakeholders.
Support data entry and basic reporting for team expenses, grant
compliance, and program evaluation. Coordinate with Learning and
Development Department to ensure that trainings are placed in the
learning management system Liaise with program and Learning and
Development leadership to coordinate and implement logistics for
MHWB trainings. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities (Internship Coordination): Develop recruitment
strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified interns.
Coordinate the selection, matching interns with appropriate
positions and placement process. Co-facilitate orientation sessions
to familiarize interns with organizational policies, procedures,
and expectations. Ensure interns receive necessary training and
resources to succeed in their roles. Serve as the primary point of
contact for interns throughout their internship. Conduct regular
check-ins and provide ongoing feedback to ensure interns' progress
and development. Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to
create internship seminars and learning environments for interns to
thrive and gain competencies. Help evaluate the effectiveness of
the internship program through feedback and assessment tools.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with educational institutions,
staff members, and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of
agreement affiliations, intern placements, evaluations, and other
documentation. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, social work, psychology, human
services, public health or related field required. Previous
experience in internship coordination, program support,
administration, recruitment, or related roles within a social
service or nonprofit organization required. Knowledge of internship
program development and evaluation preferred. Experience supporting
or coordinating trainings, workshops, or wellness initiatives
preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills,
with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
environment. Comfort with data entry, tracking, and basic reporting
for program evaluation and compliance. Commitment to mental health
and wellbeing, with a compassionate and culturally responsive
approach. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and
relevant software applications.
