Job Description Job Description Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position Summary: We are seeking an efficient, patient, and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our high-volume outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, experienced in working with both children and adults, and skilled in carrying out patient studies, dosing, and quality control procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures. Prepare and administer IVs and patient doses . Process and print scan images before the end of the workday. Conduct daily camera and hot lab quality control checks. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date logbook . Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity tests , and other regulatory assessments. Order correct isotope vials a day before scans. Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and test results. Manage medical supplies inventory . Qualifications & Skills: Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in the applicable state. Ability to efficiently handle large patient volumes in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills , especially when working with challenging patients. Effective time management, organization, and teamwork abilities. Empathy and emotional stability for patient care. Familiarity with brain imaging (Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus).
