Job Description Job Description Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator where you will be responsible for handling material duties including preparing and shipping industry-leading fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products. Your role will involve picking and pulling parts, loading freight into trailers, and opening crates. Responsibilities Prepare and ship fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products. Pick and pull parts accurately and efficiently. Load freight into trailers safely and securely. Open crates using appropriate tools and techniques. Utilize various industrial material handling equipment including forklifts, scanners, and shrink wrap machines. Essential Skills Inventory management Forklift operation Material handling RF scanner usage Picking and packing skills Shipping and receiving experience Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of forklift experience preferred Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Flexibility is required to stay until work is completed, potentially extending the day to 6:30 PM with prior notice. Overtime is generally extended shifts as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kutztown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
