The Coordinator, Corporate Communications plays a vital role in
sustaining JetBlue’s culture by ensuring crewmembers are informed,
engaged, and connected to the airline’s strategy and operations.
This position translates complex operational updates, business
objectives, and leadership priorities into clear, compelling
communications that help crewmembers understand where JetBlue is
headed and how they contribute to its success. By shaping how
information is shared across frontline and support center
audiences, the role directly enhances alignment, engagement, and
operational effectiveness across the organization. Reporting to the
Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, this role partners with
leaders and stakeholders enterprise-wide to support key
communication initiatives. The Coordinator evaluates operational
information and determines the most effective ways to reach diverse
audiences, cutting through corporate jargon to deliver relatable,
impactful messaging. Through storytelling and day-to-day
operational communications, this position highlights JetBlue’s
culture in action and reinforces the shared purpose that drives
crewmember performance and pride. Essential Responsibilities
Develop a keen understanding of the JetBlue voice and the
voice/style of various JetBlue leaders and apply throughout
communications Develop, interpret, and implement internal
communications strategies that support the operation and crewmember
engagement Write and edit newsletters, manuals, and other materials
and coordinate the distribution to frontline crewmembers Liaison
with other internal and external communicators and make
discretionary decisions regarding prioritization, sequencing, and
presentation of communications based on operational urgency,
audience needs, and business risk Execute departmental
announcements and notices to ensure consistent presentation
Maintain and oversee content strategy for the day-to-day content of
workgroup-related information presented on HelloJetBlue (intranet)
and posts on On the Fly (intranet app), and email communications
Maintain engagement with the operation and provide communications
support to crewmembers and crewleaders when needed Provide
audio/visual and event support for communications purposes as
needed Offer general communication support for communication
initiatives Collaborate with internal stakeholders from various
departments to gather information on respective initiatives. Then,
“translate” departmental speak for different audiences including
the frontline group and leadership teams as well as company-wide
communications to support and move initiatives forward Support
crisis communications and after-hours media relations, applying
judgement in time-sensitive and non-routine situations Participate
in identifying and executing integrated storytelling and content
development opportunities for internal audiences as part of a team
focused on achieving best results from every communications
opportunity Contribute to integrated storytelling initiatives that
advance business objectives and reinforce JetBlue’s culture and

Qualifications/Responsibilities Minimum Experience and
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field; OR demonstrated
capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School
Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant
experience One (1) year of demonstrated experience, in internal
communications, journalism and/or public relations, or relevant
front line operational experience. Must possess strong
organizational, planning, and time-management abilities to be able
to produce multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage self
towards goals, while being a genuine team player Basic Photoshop
and HyperText Markup Language (HTML) skills Basic understanding of
social media platforms Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
suite of products Attention to detail while providing exceptional
customer service with little supervision Excellent
troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Available for occasional
overnight travel (10%) Must pass a pre-employment drug test Legally
eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Qualifications Three (3) years of professional corporate
communications or agency experience Excellent communication skills,
including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking Excellent
interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high
professionalism Crewmember Expectations Regular attendance and
punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours, afterhours and
weekends, and be available to respond on short-notice Able to
maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on
JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are
asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an
appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is,

position is between $66,300 and $77,800 per year. Base pay is one
component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also
include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company
match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term
disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available
travel on JetBlue, and more.
