About the role: CHANEL is looking for a Specialist to join our Supply Planning Team in Piscataway, NJ. You will assist and support a key part of our dynamic fragrance and beauty catalogs. This role interfaces with many vital cross-functional partners across the business and is a strategic partner for maintaining balanced inventory levels to support the needs of our business while enabling brand growth. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a passion for data analysis, collaboration, and challenging the status quo.What impact you can create at CHANEL: Owner of the supply planning Fragrance and Beauty promotional SKU forecast mainly on the visual merchandising categories, while delivering on multiple key performance indicators such as On Time Newness Launch, On Time In Full and Days of Supply; including base business and newnessOverall procurement management responsibilities including order submission, tracking, monthly review meetings, understanding and communicating supply constraints and providing analysis to support decision making with key stakeholdersLiaise with Merchandise Planning, Retail and Store Environment, and Marketing to ensure promotional tracker reflects latest information used for budget updating, ensuring availability of merchandising elements to support our point of sale vision, and ultimately a luxurious experience for our clientsSupport leader in Excess & Obsolescence review and management across inventory network; identify reduction opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement usage strategiesCollaborate with global partners in Supply Chain and Customer Service to understand inventory availability and manage purchase ordersManage relationships with Quality and Operations to ensure inventory accuracy and dispositionContinue to shape and improve existing supply planning projects where applicableShared accountability for achieving service level, inventory targets and excess & obsolete inventory goals in partnership with merchandise planners You are energized by: Working in a highly collaborative environmentNavigating complexity and supporting consistent transformation and change managementLead cross-functional processes and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)Collaborating with teammates and contributing to a healthy and strong sense of morale and culturePassion for learning and growing; challenge the status quo; asking questions!Connecting the dots on problems, bring a keen eye for details and facilitate transparent communications with key global partners What you will bring to the team: Supply Chain / Distribution Mgmt / Planning degree preferred but not requiredOut of Box thinking to identify inefficiencies and help shape new process/systemsHigh proficiency of Microsoft ExcelData Visualization skills (Storytelling: Tables, Charts, etc)Experience working within an ERP/MRP environment; SAP experience a plusUnique industry or insight experience Position Logistics: 1-3 Years of experience (minimum) BA / BS Degree Hybrid, in-office work schedule: Based in Piscataway, NJ Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,200 through $90,000.
