Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP), a top ten Girl Scout Council in the country, is looking for Program Implementers to join the Mission Delivery team in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester Delaware, Lehigh, Northampton, and Philadelphia Counties. Specifically we are looking to serve upcoming programs scheduled in Philadelphia, Norristown, Reading, and parts of Chester County. The GSEP Program Implementer will lead fun and exciting Girl Scout programming. Not sure if you know what it takes? Don’t worry, we’ll train you! Program Implementers will: Deliver prescribed Girl Scout Leadership programming (i.e. STEM, self-esteem, anti-bullying, health & wellness) to girls at assigned sites. Provide support between site and Coordinator to ensure all programming needs are met. Develop and cultivate relationships with girls, parents/caregivers and community site administrators to nurture long term commitments to Girl Scouting and the mission. Have the ability to manage survey administration, attendance tracking, and collection of membership for each girl member. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: Applicants must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation, car preferred. Enjoy working with children. Ability to travel from site to site based on community. Computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft 2007 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience working with databases and Excel spreadsheets. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds. Education: High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential: Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to creatively deliver Girl Scout programming Ability to work with girls of diverse populations. Willingness to learn (or prior knowledge of) Girl Scout program, philosophy and structure of the organization. Spanish or other language speaking a plus. Hours of Work: The hours may vary from 9am-8pm and may include occasional evenings and some weekends depending on the community. Flexible, part-time hours up to 25 hours per week. Employees are responsible and accountable for: Adequately monitor and track bi-weekly hours worked and submit by deadline. Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control. Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety. Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace. Correct utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment. Additional Requirements: Maintain Membership as a registered Girl Scout and background clearances Ability to interact across all levels with a diverse population.
